Arjun Kaje is a Bangalore boy who may have written and sung what is being called the next Kolaveri Di.
Kaje and three friends star in the Kanglish song I am an Engineeruu with some rap, funny lyrics and a foot-tapping beat.
The video, produced under an Empty Pocket Production and Next Generation Music, is composed by Rakesh K.S. The video states that Rakesh Mayya is the “75% camera man” and Kabir Manv, “the remaining 25% camera man”.
I am an Engineeruu opens with an engineering student walking alone a street singing about studies and girls, with the catchy lyrics of “I am an Engineeruu affiliated to VTU”.
As Kaje commented on his facebook page on January 5: “wovvvv.......guys its 10878 views in 3 days...it feels awesomeeeee....a big thanx to allll viewers...:-):-):-)”
There have been over 1000 comments on facebook and just under 500 shares. Some viewers predict the song will be as popular the Tanglish, Kolaveri Di.
