IIM-A: PGP placement 2012 highlights

Placements at IIM-Ahmedabad for the Postgraduate Program (PGP) batch of 2010-12 concluded on March 24 with all students taking part received offers.
About 120 companies took part. Offers were made in the India offices as well as London and New York.

Offers to students from the 2010-12 batch were made across sectors including finance, management and consultancy. Some students also took up offers in sales and marketing profiles.

An official release from IIM-A noted that the salaries and offers had not decreased despite media expectations. About 40 per cent of students had prior work experience.

Placements for PGP began on February 13, 2012. Further details including salary will will be available once Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS) releases a detailed report on the placements in June 2012.

Placements are still on for the Agri-Business Management Programme (PGP-ABM) and Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPX).
