announcing the results for the All India Engineering Entrance
Examination (AIEEE) on Tuesday, June 7 2011.
The paper was scheduled to be conducted on May 1, 2011. However, on
the same day, the question paper was found to be leaked, as a result
of which, the exam had been delayed by three hours.
Because of the delay, several students had been unable to appear for
the test on May 1. This had led to the Board rescheduling the exam for
them on May 11. Around 10 lakh candidates had appeared for the AIEEE
this year.
