IGNOU to organize workshop on Rorschach Inkblot Test

New Delhi: The Department of Psychology, School of Social Sciences
(SOSS), IGNOU, will soon organize a workshop on Rorschach Inkblot Test
Administration and Scoring (Exner Method).

This workshop will provide psychology practitioners an opportunity to
develop an in-depth knowledge about the test and enhance the necessary
skills required in administration, scoring and interpretation of the
test.

"The Rorschach inkblot test is a psycho-diagnostic test used in
clinical setting for diagnosis and differential diagnosis. It is a
projective test of personality in which a subject's interpretations of
ten standard abstract designs are analyzed as a measure of emotional
and intellectual functioning and integration," said Dr. Suhas
Shetgovekar, Reader, Discipline of Psychology, SOSS.

Dr. Shetgovekar further added, "Various techniques of scoring the
Rorschach Inkblot test may be used. In the present workshop, the Exner
Comprehensive System of scoring Rorschach Inkblot will be covered."

The eligibility for participation in the workshop is M.A.
(Psychology). The last date for registration is May 20, 2011.
