Islamia University in association with Youth Empowerment Services is
going to conduct a 15-day 'Employability Skills Training Programme'
commencing from May 16 for students of the university.
This programme aims to develop non-technical skills and competencies
that have always been an important part of effective and successful
participation in the workplace.
The duration of the course is 15 days. It will include Employability
Skills Assessment of the students followed by training on certain
important aspects of key skills.
On successful completion of the course, students would be eligible to
apply for a further 15 days advance training programme.
In the first batch, the university will be keeping attendance to the
workshop open for students who are in the final year of their courses.
Students who have appeared in their final year examinations this year
can also apply.
