system in all courses in the coming session has keep all its aspirants
worried, as getting information regarding the course content is still
a distant dream for them.
The university website, too, has not uploaded any latest information.
While there is information about science courses, which were started
in the semester mode last year, there is none about courses in social
sciences, arts and commerce. In fact, B Com and B Com (honours) � two
courses for which semester syllabi has already been passed � are
listed as annual mode courses. There is no information about popular
courses such as economics (honours), English (honours) and psychology
(honours).
Most teachers had refused to participate in the process of making
semester syllabi last month and some courses were passed despite
opposition from a large number of faculty members. Syllabi of some
courses, though, are already under deliberation.
H Ramchandra, professor, geography department said that they have
already passed the course for BA (programme) and the semester course
for geography (honours) should be completed by the end of this month.
Teachers from other departments however refused to comment on the
issue. The registrar and the vice-chancellor could not be contacted
despite repeated attempts.
