Central Hindi Institute of Agra celebrates golden jubilee

Agra: The Central Hindi Institute (CHI) of Agra has completes fifty
years of establishment on March 28, 2011.

On the occasion, Chief Guest and former MP for Andhra Pradesh Y. Laxmi
elaborated the importance of Hindi language. He said that Hindi plays
a pivotal role in acting as a bridge between different religions,
culture and caste.

Four new books as well as video CDs were also released by the Central
Hindi Institute. A cultural event was organized by foreign as well as
Indian students of the institutes.

Senior members of the institutes including CHI Vice Chairman Ashok
Chakradhar and CHI-Agra Director K. Vijay Kumar were also shared their
views and highlighted the importance of Hindi.

Officials from the Ministry of Human Resource Development who were
present to witness the golden jubilee celebrations included Dr. Anita
Bhatnagar Jain, Joint Secretary (Languages and Administration) and
P.V. Gupta, Deputy Secretary (Languages.
