NIESBUD Organizes Recruiters’ Meet

The National Institute for Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, which has been organizing different kind of entrepreneurship-cum-skill development programmes throughout the country, organized a Recruiters’ Meet here recently. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri Anurag Mishra, GM-cum-Chief Editor, Employment News, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. 

The Event was organized for the beneficiaries of the training activities of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) who were looking for wage employment in the trades of Retail Management, Hotel & Hospitality, Garment Designing, Food Processing, Travel & Tourism, Artificial Jewellery Making, Computer Hardware & Networking, Desktop Publishing (DTP), Web Designing, AC, Water Cooler & Refrigerator Repairing, Photography & Photoshop, Household and Electrical Appliances and Mobile Repairing. 

A total of 31 Recruiters participated in the Event and about 100 persons have been placed with different employers. Over and above, everyone else got a chance to interact with renowned Job providers and other consultancy services with the assurance that they will be placed soon. 

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Arun Kumar Jha, Director General of NIESBUD elucidated that the first priority of the different skill training activities by the Institute is to promote self employment (entrepreneurship) among the participants. In view of the tremendous response generated by the Event, Shri Jha expressed hope that the Institute will organize more such Events in near future.
