On this occasion, the chief guest Dr. D. Purandeswari, minister of state for Human Resource Development (HRD) stressed on the importance of using Hindi language in scientific and technical terminology.
She said that thoughts and feelings can best be expressed through languages. She further added that the Commission will remain committed in rendering valuable services in the future also.
On this occasion she launched a website on technical terms in Hindi language. She also released four books on scientific terminology including a book on administrative terminology.
Officials from the HRD ministry such as Higher Education Secretary Vibha Puri Das, Joint Secretary (Languages and Administration) Dr. Anita Bhatnagar Jain and Central Hindi Institute (Agra) Director Prof. Vijay Kumar were also present on the occasion.
