The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has commended the contribution of Dr. Tessy Thomas as part of the team of scientists that were involved in the test launch of the Agni V missile.
In a letter to the scientist, the President has recalled her interaction with Dr. Thomas at Rashtrapati Bhavan on issues such as empowerment of women. The President in her letter has also said that the work of Dr. Thomas in the Agni programme would hopefully inspire more women in choosing careers in science.

The scientists&technicians&others deserve congratulations and NOT the minister or crooked rulers! Why we have such weapons and spend trillions of dollars on when we have a non-violent british agent MK Gandhi as our great leader???
