The Minister for Culture and Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation Kumari Selja has said that Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has requested Survey of India (SOI) to undertake geodetic observations of the Qutub Minarannually. The study report from SOI is awaited.
In a written reply in the Lok Sabha today she said, the details of the funds allocated and utilized during the last three years and allocation for the current financial year for the Qutub Minar are as under:

She said, the conservation work of the monument is attended regularly, depending upon the need of the repairs and availability of resources and it is in a good state of preservation.
