Lucknow University teachers to declare assets

Lucknow: In a bid to bring transparency in the education system, the Lucknow University Teachers Association (LUTA) said on Tuesday it will make public assets and properties of its office bearers.

"The move intends to support a crusade against corruption and to put the university as a whole as a torchbearer of the society in the fight against corruption," said LUTA statement.

"LUTA also demands that the varsity's administrative heads should also support the crusade against corruption," it said. IANS
