Primary and Secondary Education Minister Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri has
said that though a re-examination of the SSLC Third Language Hindi
subject will be held on April 27, 2011 at 14 centres of Mysore urban
and rural areas, this would not delay the declaration of the results,
which would be before May 15.

The answer scripts of 2,450 students of 135 high schools were
destroyed in a fire at the evaluation centre at Shimoga, due to which
a re-examination will be conducted for the affected students.
Hall-tickets for the re-examination would be sent to all students and
headmasters have been instructed to make arrangements, he added.
